Dyson's Supermarket has been owned and operated by the Dyson family in Numurkah since 1988. Colin and Maria Dyson started the business with a strong family dynamic, and support of the local community. Wayne, their son, joined the store in 2004 leading the way for Colin and Maria to retire in January 2005. Sharon, their daughter, joined the family business in 2008 and together, they work hard building up high standards of customer service, supplying the best quality goods and strong bonds in the local area.
Dyson’s Supermarket employs over 60 people from the local district, and supports their community the best they can. They are the major sponsors of two exciting events in town - "Show Us Ya Wheels" A static car display held on the 1st Sunday of December, and the “Numurkah Food bowl Festival” A music filled weekend in the town of Numurkah held in October each year. They also sponsor many local football, cricket and netball clubs along with many other organizations and charities in town.
